After running around the rumor mill for the passed couple days thanks to mysterious entries on various retail websites, the existence of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition was officially confirmed this morning.
The package, available in September for 360, PS3, and PC owners, will contain the original version of Oblivion, its expansion pack The Shivering Isles, and the downloadable content Knights of the Nine. Gamers who have existing Oblivion saves will be able to continue their previous adventures with the GotY edition.
