Fans who know enough about games to have favorite game music composers (this writer and perhaps you, reader of obscure RPG website) will find it noteworthy that Masashi Hamauzu has left Square Enix, hot off the release of Final Fantasy XIII. No reasons for the departure were reported, but like other recent Square Enix quits, perhaps he felt his years at the company had been too linear, and he needed a new town.
