Lowercase ‘g’ gamigo today announced that The Witcher: Versus will now be available in Europe and North America. This spinoff of the popular PC game is playable via browser, Facebook, and iPhone. Check it out here.
Previously available only in Eastern Europe, the game’s creators are obviously happy to see it go global. Currently, it can be played in English and German. Among the features revealed thus far is the ability to unlock items for use in the upcoming The Witcher 2.
I smell a press release quote incoming….
“Millions of players have already immersed themselves into the world of The Witcher and we are very excited to be opening a new chapter of this success story in collaboration with one2tribe,” said Patrick Streppel, member of gamigo’s Executive Board. “The Witcher: Versus is based on the fascinating concept of action-packed strategic combat in a familiar RPG setting. We are also proud to be one of the first publishers to announce a cross-platform game playable in a browser, on Facebook, and on iPhone.”
