RPG Deals 5/30 – 6/5

Alpha Protocol launches at $45 price for the PS3 and 360? Only one store is doing this deal, however. Also, GameStop is doing an online deal on Wii and DS games until tomorrow. Toys R Us even joins in with the fun. An amazing week, this.
Hell, if GameStop becomes an actual, decent place to buy games; I wouldn’t know how to react.
K-Mart is the chain of stores offering Alpha Protocol for $45. There’s two catches to this deal. One, it’s in-store only. And two, and only runs until June 5. Still, for a brand new game the price is not bad. I wonder what kind of unholy deal Sega and K-Mart have? I hope it expands to Valkyria Chronicles 2 this summer.
GameStop is giving 20% off all Wii and DS games in-stock through its online store. Upon checkout, enter coupon code ‘gs20’. You may have to cancel out other coupons for it to work. For free shipping, enter coupon code ‘saver’ as well. This deal ends tomorrow, May 31. See the bold letters? They signify importance.
Toys R Us is offering a ‘buy one get 50% off the second game’ on all DS games. The second game must be of equal or lesser value. If they stocked Infinite Space near me, this might work out for me.
Amazon is offering a deal on Borderlands for the 360 and PC. Buy the game, get the double expansion pack for free.
Mass Effect 2 has a new $40 price tag at most places. Enjoy!
Play-Asia has sold out of the sought-after “Zettai Houi” collector’s pack of .hack//Link, but you can still snag the regular version for a few bucks below the suggested price here. This game still hasn’t been announced for stateside release.
That’s all I got for this week. Happy Hunting.
Disclaimer: Deals may not be available in all stores. Prices in each store may differ. You can try different stores to mitigate this, and always ask if a store has it before writing them off. You might be able to get a raincheck. A lot of these deals are in-store only, except where specified.
