Square Enix counting down to Hikari no Yon Senshi: Final Fantasy Gaiden
By Heath | July 1, 2009 at 7:41 pm
As Joseph previously reported, Square Enix has posted a little countdown site to get some hype wheels moving on an upcoming project. NintendoEverything.com now reveals a magazine scan and info that the game will be called Hikari no Yon Senshi: Final Fantasy Gaiden for Nintendo DS (“Hikari no Yon Senshi” meaning “Four Warriors of Light,” hence that big 4 on the countdown site). Info after the image:
The game is reportedly very menu-driven and features a traditional story of a teenage boy saving a princess from the clutches of an evil witch. Other small details include that equipment affects a character’s appearance, the battle system uses a “charge” command, but not MP, and that this game has no relation to Final Fantasy Adventure (which is not surprising, since that was actually a SaGa game anyway).
