RPG Deals 5/23 – 5/29

Behold! The burning rays of sun on a drought of deals! Unless you buy a new 360, or want What Did I do to Deserve This, My Lord!? 2 for $20.
The lack of witticisms aside, there really is nothing strictly RPG-related this week. There are a couple deals of interest.
GameStop has What Did I Do etc., 2 for 20 bucks. Last I checked, it had the first game on there as well. Not bad, GameStop.
Toys R Us has a deal on new releases – “Buy 1 game get a second game $20 off” – but it’s only available on select games and none of them are RPGs. On the other hand, if you’re looking to replace your 360 or buy a new one, TRU is throwing in 3 free platinum hits games from a selection of 15 titles when a customer buys a 360. Mass Effect is definitely one of the titles, but I would not be surprised if Fable II was another one.
K-Mart is offering Bioshock 1 & 2 for $50. Bioshock may not be an RPG, but its similar elements have attracted many an RPG fan to the game. The first game is a wonderful experience, and the second game is pretty fun once you ignore the premise.
You’ve probably heard of the upcoming DS RPG Metal Max 3 if you read RPG Land. Well, those interested in catching up on this series can snag the previous title, Metal Saga for PlayStation 2, at Play-Asia for less than $20. It comes recommended for people who crave a non-linear RPG.
At this time I would urge you to take a peak at your favorite online store’s inventories or any RPGs you might have missed. I’ve stumbled across $4 copies of Blue Dragon on Amazon.com, and supposedly there are $15 copies of Muramasa out there. It’s a slow time, folks. Stores want to get rid of inventory fast.
That’s all I got. Happy Hunting.
Disclaimer: Deals may not be available in all stores. Prices in each store may differ. You can try different stores to mitigate this, and always ask if a store has it before writing them off. You might be able to get a raincheck. A lot of these deals are in-store only, except where specified.
