RPG Deals 9/5 – 9/11

Valkyria Chronicles 2 was released last week and is on sale this week.  Some cheap games receive a ‘bogo’ style deal, and Birth by Sleep receives a gift card or another discounted game.

Deals I Have Used:  Nothing last week.  I was tempted with Alpha Protocol, but that will probably be $20 soon.  I did go out today for the Valkyria Chronicles 2 deal below.

K-Mart takes the reins this week by selling Valkyria Chronicles 2 for $25.  The game just came out last week.  K-Mart has some unholy deal with Sega which allows K-Mart to sell Sega’s games at a discount price.  That’s good for us consumers.

K-Mart also has a $10 gaming coupon with purchases of Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep.  Buying $20 or $50 PSN cards or 1600 or 4000 Live points cards will net a $10 coupon for the lower amount and a $20 coupon for the higher amount. Just to let everyone know, these coupons are now active the Sunday after receiving them to keep people like me from buying stuff repeatedly.

Toys R Us is doing a ‘buy 1 get 1 40% off’ on all games under $20.  Additionally, they are doing a ‘buy 1 get 1 50% off’ on special titles.  Birth by Sleep is one of the titles; and the only RPG on the list.  Two other games of note are Red Dead Redemption and Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions.  The Spider-Man game looks pretty sweet, actually.

Last week I spoke of future deals, and one has come true!  I can’t take credit for it; the K-Mart gamer site is the source of that fine knowledge.  Let’s see where the future takes us, shall we?
