RPG Deals 11/27 – 12/3

By Russ | November 27, 2011 at 5:28 pm

Lots of online deals this week, since Monday is Cyber Monday; the day online stores cyber with your wallet to produce poverty.

Truth is, there are a lot of Black Friday deals being extended for Cyber Monday and little else.  You’ll have to check back with your individual retailer of choice to see what’s up with prices, and see if anything new is being offered.

NISA is having a huge PSN sale on PSP games, as well as add-ons. Listed below are the PSP titles and prices.  The add-ons involve Disgaea 3 and Ar Tonelico Qoga.  This sale runs until 12/20, if I am remember correctly.

Xseed has also dropped the PSN price of the following PSP titles:

PSN’s Fall Sale has Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes for $10.50 and Dungeon Hunter: Alliance for $9.  I do not know how long the Fall Sale is active. May only be until Tuesday.

White Knight Chronicles II is $30 at Wal-Mart’s online store.  Not sure how long, and the deal may be in-store.

K-Mart is offering a $15 coupon when gamers buy $40 worth of video game merchandise this week.

Target has Dark Souls and Dead Island for $50 each this week.

Man, this past Black Friday seemed to be much less than previous years.  Perhaps I’m just getting used to this season’s insane bullshit, or perhaps merely missed out due to being asleep from the Midnight to 5:00 AM rush.  Either way, my late evening Thanksgiving Day drive saw several customers shopping around the Midnight hour, but they had all but vanished come 7:00 AM.  I’m curious to see the news reports on the subject.  Did this happen to anyone else?

I did order quite a few games online.  Mostly to finish up my DS collection of RPGs.  I also downloaded Corpse Party and now I’m scared – there’s not half as much death as advertised.  Better play more to double-check.

Disclaimer: Deals may not be available in all stores. Deals may stop and any time. Prices in each store may differ. You can try different stores to mitigate this, and always ask if a store has the item before leaving the store. You might be able to get a raincheck. Many deals are in-store only, except where specified. This column brought to you by Corpse Party.  Why are all the deaths blank effing screens!?
