Late column as I delve into the Occult.
Final Fantasy XIV‘s new area – the Occult Crescent – dropped May 27th and has been popular since. It follows on the previous update’s Cosmic Exploration, which has dwindled significantly despite also being a new area with stuff to do.
Final Fantasy also has its Magic: the Gathering expansion releasing June 13. It’s proving to be the most popular expansion for Magic according to Hasbro’s CEO Chris Cox. FF and MtG fans are eating well, apparently.
The Switch 2 was released June 5, and several games were ported to the system for launch, including Cyberpunk 2077.
Lies of P stealth dropped its DLC this past week for fans of Soulslikes.
Deltarune was released June 4. Buying the game will allow players free downloads of additional chapters as those release.
Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma drops June 10 for Switch and Switch 2.
Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark goes full Metroidvania for Switch and PS5 June 12.
Raidou: Remastered hits systems June 19. This is a re-release of the PS2 Raidou game Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs the Soulless Army.
