I got a sneak peak at NIS America’s, Cladun: This is an RPG, just released this week on the Playstation Network to purchase for your PSP, and now you too can know whether you ‘d like it or not.   Just stroll on over and consume the review.  Remember, it’s polite to finish your plate when at a guest’s house.

Magika trailer, now with 39% more humor

Paradox Interactive and Arrowhead Game Studio’s upcoming Action RPG Magicka, due for release in Q1 2011, has released one of its first trailers, the developers seem to take a lighthearted approach and have fun with it.

EverQuest 2 goes free (kinda)

So missed the 6 year old MMORPG known for its “hot” mascot? If so, you’re in luck, my friend, because starting yesterday players can experience the depths of Norrath without a subscription with the release of SOE’s new free adventure service, EverQuest II Extended. SOE has liberated portions of  EverQuest II, for free. Zenimax Media gobbles up another studio

Zenimax Media, parent company of Bethesda Softworks and more recently id Software, recently acquired another feather in their hat, Arkane Studios.  Arkane studios is a smaller studio mostly known for developing Arx Fatalis and Dark Messiah of Might and Magic. This represents two big acquisitions within a year along with their original powerhouse Bethesda.  Do these moves show the hand of a company looking to compete with the EAs and Activisions?  Only time will tell what will come.

E3: Knights in the Nightmare coming to PSP

The PSP version of Knights in the Nightmare, will be released stateside on Oct. 19.  The PSP version will feature the same strategy RPG/bullet-hell action gameplay mix with the slight change to use the analog controls vs. the touch screen.  There will also be a new playable character  and over 100 possible recruits.  For more information on this unique game you can head over to the official website.

E3: Atlus announces Etrian Odysey 3

And the hits just keep on rolling.  Atlus recently announced that Etrian Odyssey 3 is headed for North America and will be arriving September 21st.  Etrian Odyssey 3 is the third in the old school dungeon exploration game’s series, gotta love when a game’s name makes sense.  Subtitled “The Drowned City” players will assemble a team of explorers to uncover the secrets in this new adventure.  New features will include 10 all new classes, a ship to sail with ocean maps and apparently naval battles, and most interesting wireless co-op boss fights with up to 5 players.
