Hands-on with Square Enix games at E3

Ace Casino hit up E3 and worked the Square booth. He gives his thoughts on all of the games, RPG or not, below:
I had the honor of working as a Square Enix kiosk floater. That means I work as a grunt who watches the demo booths and makes sure no one attempts to pilfer a PSP or a headphone. As a person working the booths, I had the opportunity to play the demos to formulate my own opinions on them.

E3: Knights in the Nightmare coming to PSP

The PSP version of Knights in the Nightmare, will be released stateside on Oct. 19. The PSP version will feature the same strategy RPG/bullet-hell action gameplay mix with the slight change to use the analog controls vs. the touch screen. There will also be a new playable character and over 100 possible recruits. For more information on this unique game you can head over to the official website.
E3: Atlus announces Etrian Odysey 3

And the hits just keep on rolling. Atlus recently announced that Etrian Odyssey 3 is headed for North America and will be arriving September 21st. Etrian Odyssey 3 is the third in the old school dungeon exploration game’s series, gotta love when a game’s name makes sense. Subtitled “The Drowned City” players will assemble a team of explorers to uncover the secrets in this new adventure. New features will include 10 all new classes, a ship to sail with ocean maps and apparently naval battles, and most interesting wireless co-op boss fights with up to 5 players.

Ubisoft seems to be going a little anime with their new Might and Magic game, featuring multiple factions to join and fight for and multiple battle modes.
E3: Uncharted Waters Online westward bound

CJ Internet and Tecmo KoeiGameshave announced that their long standing MMO based around the classic Uncharted Waters game will finally be making its way out west to “God’s country” after over 3 years online in the lands closer to the rising sun and my ol’ stomping ground Korea. Set between the 15th and 17th centuries, the game promises the chance to conquer the hundreds of neutral cities to ensure that their chosen nation becomes the world’s leading power to influence all others. Players will be able to buy or build their ships giving them the opportunity to completely customize their look and feel.
