Xeno lives: Xenoblade shown by Monolithsoft

Just when it was thought to be dead, the Xeno family’s soul still burns. Revealed at E3 2009 fir Nintendo Wii, under the code name Monado, the game is set to be released in Japan this year. It will be developed by Monoliftsoft under the direction of who I generally call The Xenoguy Tetsuya Takahashi. Not much news except the official website, which is nothing more than a splash page and pretty music.

New Pokémon coming to DS

Ogre Battle 64 heads to Virtual Console

A subject of recent nostalgia in our decade retrospective, Ogre Battle 64 will be headed to the Nintendo Wii’s Virtual Console. Japan will get the game in January, but there is not yet official word on this being released to other audiences.

Mew in DS Pokémon games: let me show you him

Commemorating the 10th anniversary of Pokémon Gold and Silver (11/21/09 in Japan), McDonald’s of Japan will soon be enabling players to download Mew in Pokémon Heart Gold, Soul Silver, Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum. The ability to use Mew will run from Nov. 11-23 for the Heart Gold and Soul Silver versions of the game, and will pick up again Jan. 29 – Feb. 11, 2010 for the other above-listed titles.
