Disgaea Infinite: TGS 2009 Hands-on

The announcement of Disgaea Infinite is barely over a week old, but already there was a playable version at the Tokyo Game Show. From what I played of it, it doesn’t appear to be an RPG, but what it is exactly requires some explaining. Take a dialogue-based text adventure game, Prinnies, and the movie Groundhog Day, roll them all together, and the result might look something like Disgaea Infinite.

La Pucelle Tactics lands in PSP port, first scans

Nippon Ichi continues to enhance and port its PS2 games to the PlayStation Portable. The latest will be an upgrade of La Pucelle Tactics, which will go under the new title of La Pucelle: Ragnarok and release in Japan on Nov. 26.

Antiphona, Pram show up in Disgaea 2 PSP

Nippon Ichi has shown love for cameos and crossovers, and the new downloadable content for Disgaea 2 Portable is yet another expression of it. The ever-popular Pram from Makai Kingdom is now playable, as well as Miabelle from the yet-to-be-released Antiphona no Seikahime: Tenshi no Gakufu Op.A.

New Marl Kingdom game on PSP, over 50 images

Another entry in the Marl Kingdom family, which includes La Pucelle Tactics for PS2 and Rhapsody for PlayStation and DS, is in production for the PSP. Per the game’s official website, the title is Antiphona no Seikahime: Tenshi no Gakufu Op.A (very roughly, Hymn of the Princess Antiphona: Angel’s Musical Score Opus A). Images below:
