PR^2: The Elder Scrolls Online beta signups press release (w. editorial)

The following is an unedited press release about the upcoming Elders Scrolls Online MMORPG.  I thought we’d try a different take and post it as is, with no changed, but editorialize (read through the lines) and see how it stacks up.  NOTE: The editorials are noted in bold/italic (ed.) and are solely my opinion or just a lame attempt at a cheap laugh (please like me).

Bethesda Softworks and ZeniMax Online Studios announced that beta signups are now open for The Elder Scrolls Online at ElderScrollsOnline.com. Interested gamers simply have to go to the website and register for a chance to play. Selected beta registrants will be granted early access to beta test the game. They will be among the first to experience this epic world with others in one of 2013’s most highly anticipated releases (ed. AKA 2013’s most anticipated underachiever). Timing and details of the start of play tests will be provided at a later date to those who register.

Bethesda Announces Elder Scrolls MMO, No One Surprised

Today, in a move that should surprise few, Bethesda Softworks and Zenimax announced The Elder Scrolls Online, is being developed for the PC and Mac. The Elder Scrolls Online, TESO as it will now be called, will be the first Elder Scrolls game in the long running franchise to allow gamers to explore the world of Nirn and Tamriel.
