Lightning Crashes the party: new Final Fantasy XIII game coming

A new Final Fantasy game was announced this week, and it’s yet another adventure in the XIII universe. Not wanting to call it Final Fantasy XIII-3, Square Enix has named it Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII. Lightning will be the only playable character, the battles will be much more of an action RPG system than before, and it will make use of a time travel mechanic that some have described as being similar to that of Zelda: Majora’s Mask. Below is a video containing the released images so far, and what had to be the first song you thought of when you heard this news (if you’re from my generation, at least).
