Signature Devices today announced that its development and publishing house Graffiti Entertainment is developing a port of Mazes of Fate for the Nintendo DS. The game will be released sometime in October.
Originally created for the GBA by Argentinian-based developer Sabarasa Entertainment, Mazes of Fate is a real-time, first-person dungeon crawler that’s similar to turn-based affairs such as Wizardry and Etrian Odyssey. The DS version is promised to include additional quests, dungeons, and characters, as well as 3 new player avatars. Additionally, players will be able to open doors, pick locks, pull levers, and interact with the game environment via the DS’ touchscreen, while character stats and a bigger version of the automap is displayed on the top screen.
