 thank you aubstar!! I think those points will definately help me alot with this game. Hmm so you don't need the ga's eh? interesting, ya that was the magic I was missing and ya I don't remember if I had comet or not...hmmm....

will definately use this party set up  and ya zidane was pretty much useless through out the whole game....:X the only thing he was good for was extra person for the bosses to pound on so the others don't die...lol... and the trances really. Quite interesting when you think about it...his persona was like a thief, and in some games I know (like FFXI for example) theifs are pretty much useless, but they have tricky moves that if used right can be deadly...ex..tricky attack, sneak attack a la FFXI and in this game his trances are the most powerful...hmm...anyway enough ranting on that....

so true!! the first disc is basically @$$ but then it picks up...
Gonna pick up this game again soon tell you how it goes..

Well, he was pretty useless, but atleast he was better than Quina. The only reason I bothered to get him/her (I think he's a guy) was to have an extra character in the party on the times when you needed one. He really didn't serve any other purpose.

Did you both miss his Trances that did more damage than anyone else's? >_>
Cause those sure do stick out in my memory...the repeated 9999's on the screen...

He did have kick butt trances, but his character was pretty weak sans trance. Maybe useless is too harsh a term.

if you read that NR that's what I was talking about... his trances are amazing and the most powerful...and okay maybe useless is too harsh...

I'm on disc 2. I got side-tracked by FFIX. (Which for whoever is wondering, I beat again last night)

Aubstar, did you ever play FF Tactics Advance? It has the same weapon skill system as FFIX. Seems like you'd enjoy it if you like SRPGs. The storyline was simplistic but it had good gameplay, with the exception of the Judgement system. However I guess I got lucky cause I never really got screwed by the judges. Anyway, check it out sometime.

Hey Black Death Age of Empires 3 is already out in north america but then again I dont know if Europe didnt recieve it yet...
I havent played it myself personally but to all its own.
Currently playing:
Mortal Kombat Shaolin monks.....FATALITY!!!! ......
Radiata Stories
PoPoLoCrois (pretty much done)
and I got a whole bunch of other games I need to try to complete like
Xenosaga 2
Star Ocean Til the End of Time (like 90% finished)
..the list goes on....... |
