Wait, that sounds like the plot from Destiny 2 (Eternia) on PSX.... What was the story to that one then? Stupid ass Tales games and their forgettable plots...

Ah but the gameplay does not dissapoint like Legend of mana and (lol hey all we got is a good soundtrack)Chrono Cross.

Is it still flamebait if he's baiting a flamer?

That's some existential shit.

Chrono Cross had one of the greatest battle systems in RPG history, gameplay went above and beyond the standards.

Really? Well you just heard it here, twice even.

Stamina system w/ three tier attack (similar to Xenogears) and elements = win

Auto heal with elements after combat

No level grinding since levels only obtained from bosses

It's quick for a turn based game

What's not to love about it? Awesome game. I'd say it's overrated but it got nearly universally great reviews except from whiny ass Chrono Trigger kids who don't know shit about good RPG's and Idin Leis, who doesn't know shit about practically anything.

ugh, I just cancelled my preorder online for this... I saw some more gameplay videos and read about the game and its battle system and I gotta say that any excitement I had is gone. even the special goodies can't get me excited for this.

hopefully Atlus will bring over SRT: OGs or Gaiden as well, so i can still have an SRPG (other than soul nomad) to be excited for on PS2

Sounds like someone is bitter. I would be too if all the new additions to my favorite series of games just got crappier and crappier.

I also hope you are not suggesting that Chrono Cross is better than Chrono Trigger.

What'd you see that you didn't like Randar? I dunno the JP vids I saw looked fine to me. I still want this title but I fear I won't be done with P3 and Wild ARMs V by the time this comes out.

it looks very hack 'n' slashy to me, not enough strategy... plus i have some money issues (wanting to come back once in a while from college to see my fiancee), so i needed to free up some more cash

It's supposed to play alot like FFXII. That's what I've been hearing anyway.
