This is on the PS3? Even as the board's sole Disgaea fanboy, I have to lulz.

PS2ish? More like SNESish, just like always.

Of of those characters looks like they just put Adell and Ash together real quick. :\

Anyways, points of win; the enemies. I spotted both the Kitties from PH and the Mushrooms from LP/PH.

Edit: Though thinking about it, there's a Soul Nomad character that looks pretty much just like Walnut minus a hair tie.

When did you become a Disgaea fanboy?

And I know I've wracked up more time on either Phantom Brave or Disgaea 2 than you have on any two NIS games combined. :/

I still don't know why we couldn't get these graphics on the PS2 though. :/

Well, I haven't played an NIS game since the few hours I spent with Makai, but I logged 300+ hours into Disgaea and Phantom Brave, and about 100 in La Pucelle. I stopped since they all kind of feel like the same game now. I've still been meaning to at least play through the story in MK and D2 but I don't like buying PS2 games anymore since it's always a fierce battle against DRE's and wrestling living room time away from my roommate.

Soul Nomad is kind of the "Last Chance" thing I got going on with NIS.

I am going to buy that game and hopefully enjoy it.

If your PS2 has a hard drive, I've yet to meet a NIS game that isn't burnable and playable through various devices...

And 300 hours each is about the time I've put into them. As annoying as NIS games can be, there is something nice about putting one down for awhile and then coming back to it much much later. :D
