Holy crap.
Ottawa broke the "When Jay McKee scores, Buffalo wins" rule.

First ever shootout at Mellon Arena in Pittsburgh tonight. And of course, it had to be new Golden Boy who scored to win. Heh. Awesome game, awesome. Thibault was a stud in the shootout. _________________ If you buy stuff from Play Asia, help support RPG Land. Thank you. |

I don't have much to say yet. But so far I've loved the new Hockey. It's like a different playing style. A lot more excitment, less stops, just good ole' Hockey.
Although I miss the OT. |

Miss the OT? If you're referring to the 5-minute OT that the league had, that's still there. If you mean the full period of OT that they used up until the mid 90's, then oh. I guess we still get continuous OT in the playoffs though. That's always pretty cool. _________________ If you buy stuff from Play Asia, help support RPG Land. Thank you. |

I won yesterday in my league game of NHL2k6. 2-1 with the Dallas Stars currently. It was a scorefest. I scored 4 goals in the 1st period and then struggled. Modano would go on to score 2 more in the 3rd to secure a 6-5 win after it was tied by the Canucks with only a minute left. _________________

Man I still need to get that game. Wish I had time for somethng other than these RPGs >_<
Also of note, NHL.com is taking a day-by-day look at the NHL after the first 1/4 season. Gah, it sucked reading the description of my Sabres:
| Quote: | | What's ahead -- A swift return to form by Miller would seem to be vital to the cause here. So too would more offense from everyone not named Briere. |
It's true. The goaltending without Miller has been so-so and the Briere is like Michael Jordan when he played for the Wizards. _________________ If you buy stuff from Play Asia, help support RPG Land. Thank you. |

I only play the NHL2k6 game about once a week for the online league so it doesn't take more than 45 minutes a week of my time. Still worth it though cause participating in online leagues is damn entertaining. _________________

Sweet, the Penguins are playing St. Louis tonight--the only team in the league crappier than they are. We might come away with a win tonight, boys!
| Quote: | | With a league-low 14 points, it's difficult to argue the St. Louis Blues aren't the worst team in the NHL. The Pittsburgh Penguins, however, are getting dangerously close to entering that conversation. |
Ohoho! DANGER is Pittsburgh's...pre-WWII name! _________________ If you buy stuff from Play Asia, help support RPG Land. Thank you. |

lol what's funny about this post is the fact that time actually passed between each post NR said but I just read them both now making it all the more funnier. |

Truly. Thank the lard I root for 2 teams. Been paying off this year. Plus the Sabres announcer always sounds like he's thinking about killing everyone in the stadium. _________________ If you buy stuff from Play Asia, help support RPG Land. Thank you. |

Flew into Pittsburgh last night and went to the Penguins game. They were down 3-0, made an awesome comeback to lead 4-3, then ended up losing 5-4.
JUST when you thought they wouldn't suck... _________________ If you buy stuff from Play Asia, help support RPG Land. Thank you. |
