Most of the time yes, but there are a few cars I don't feel comfortable with it, so I went Sometimes.

Yeah, 90% of the time. If I'm just driving up to the block for a pack of smokes sometimes I won't bother.

Those are so rad. I imagine the head-on accident with them (sans lap belt) would result in a decapitated, one-armed driver in a puddle down by the pedals...

Only to protect me from that nasty airbag.

Without an airbag, and in America, I hardly bother.

Here in Japan they can pull you over for it, though, (can't do that in Pennsylvania), so I do most of the time, yeah.

I got busted for riding without it a couple months ago. The cop compared driving to soccer and noted that my violation was a "yellow card." Next time would be a red card, he cautioned.

All the time.

They don't pull you over where in your area of PA for not wearing a seat belt? In the Harrisburg area the billboard slogan's "Click it or ticket."

Though now that I think about it, it might only apply to when you get pulled over, as opposed to actively being pulled over.

Yeah, they won't actively pull you over if they see you without a belt on, but if they pull you over for something else it's another charge they can tack on for additional revenue.

If I was a cop, I'd pull all your asses over if I saw you in a car without a seatbelt on.

For any particular reason other than being a douche bag?

My mom was a charge nurse at the ER in a small town for like 5 years. So, not only was I privy to my mom relaying all the gross details of the things she saw day in and day out, I knew of a good number of people who ended up in the morgue.

Kids who I went to high school with who died in car wrecks: 4. Two different wrecks.

So Heath, you better keep wearing your belt once you get back to America too, dick; you'll thank me if you ever get in an accident, and Janelle doesn't have to stare at your face in a coffin the following day.

Plus, you're Heath, so you gotta die in a much more manly way than that. Like nakedly fighting off mutants that're rampaging an orphanage for retarded infants.

Seatbelt didn't save my life, but it did keep me from getting all kinds of bruised up.

If I had to give a Phil a ride anywhere... I would make him not wear a seat belt just to be a dick.

I always wore my seatbelt, I felt weird if I didn't wear it.

also Janelle: QFET??

and Phil: Seriously you and your Heath nakedness, wow, I mean sure the man is like a demi-god but there has to be some limits to you and your fascination of him, right?

It's illegal to pull someone over ONLY for not having a seatbelt buckled. This is Pennsylvania law talking. If a cop pulls you over for just that, challenge him, because you'll win.

Not after you keep going to court and losing and it coming to the Chief's attention that you're, you know, repeatedly engaging in illegal activities without learning your lesson Wink
