What in the blazing holy f---ing fuck is that thing? It's got like two hundred thousand goddamn giant f---ing legs the size of its body and black eyes and I don't know what the fuck else, probably some sort of venom or some shit that makes you shit out your lungs and causes your feet to explode. Just look at that motherfucker, seriously, what the fuck is that thing? I bet that fucker ate its own mother when it was born.

Me and centipedes are actually alright, strangely enough. I still kill them on sight, but they don't gross me out like almost every other bug on the planet does, which is weird to me.

It's weird to me too because centipedes are about the only thing that does bother me. I mean, I don't get all freaked out or anything, but I'm not sharing a room with one of those bastards. House centipedes (pictured) bother me more than the regular kind because they apparently move ridiculously fast. I don't trust anything that moves that fast. Thankfully I don't live in an area where they exist, so I just have to deal with common garden centipedes.
What really does get me though is walking sticks. I dunno what it is about those things. I think it's because they look too much like f---ing sticks. It's just not right.
Get that crap out of here, stick thing.

Anyway, centipedes have always creeped me out. Even if they're just wandering around doing their own thing, they always seem to be full of malicious intent, like they're gonna suddenly pounce the instant you turn your back, then like... Devour you from the inside out.

I kill those things daily here in the summer. I don't mind them so much, but I've seen them grow to have a leg-span of a few inches and that's just ridiculous.

Silverfish used to before I figured out what they were. I was more distressed the couple time I found these odd things in one of my books and various other places. I've never known what they were, but they look kind of menacing in a very small way.
A bit of quick effort with the internet and I have discovered what they are. They're book scorpions or pseudoscorpions. Apparently they eat other things which eat things you don't want them to, thus making them entirely beneficial. The one I found was probably hanging out in the book because it had booklice.
