My mom is an atheist republican, but she subscribes to all their religion based stances. She can't even explain why she is anti-gay marriage. That is to say, she is as dumb as a brick, stubborn, and frequently has silly ideas. Oh, and she's as manipulative and controlling as she can manage. She thinks I look better without a full beard, so she forced the issue.
My dad is normal, but he doesn't care enough about my beard to back me up on this.

I am moving out and growing a full beard ASAP. I intend to nab a research position so I can avoid the whole hassle with coming home next summer. However, in doing so I run the high risk of selling my soul to academia, which would mean. . . eww.
I should add that I do already have a beard -- a goatee. It's longer and fuller than anything LiQuid! could do in a year.

I usually stay clean shaven for the office job so, yeah, I'm unable to participate fully. I like the effort though! It's fun to look homeless.

huh...so that's what LiQuid! looks like...I guess that means Tim and I win something. Of course, since we were the only ones involved in that conversation oh so many months(years?) ago I guess there won't be prize. Damn.
