I did drop my laptop on the floor today, so maybe I fucked something up, but the bloo here looks darker than it was yesterday. _________________

Yeah, it surprised me too.
I'm fairly certain the topic list font changed slightly too. Could be the different colors fucking with me though. It's like our world has been turned upside down!
Whoever changed it might want to fix it so we can actually tell the difference when something is quoted. On every other post they will be the same color. |

Yeah I made it darker the other day. I think she's cute. I notice you're saying it's darker but not a lot of opinions. Good or bad, so far?
I'll edit the quote shading soon. _________________ If you buy stuff from Play Asia, help support RPG Land. Thank you. |

Trying again with the alternate post background for comparison. |

It hurts my eyes. I like it lighter. Really. Please. Contrast is out of control now, dude. _________________ H-E-S-T-E-R is a long, convoluted joke. |

Curious: What do you think of the black (background) and white (text) that some places use? _________________ If you buy stuff from Play Asia, help support RPG Land. Thank you. |

Agreed. It's more difficult to read off of. |

They're better. If phpBB allows it, set up multiple themes for people to try out. An option for earth tones would be preferred. If it doesn't allow it, use less chittyshittybangbang software. |

Honest to god they both hurt my eyes. But then again I've never thought light text on dark background was ever a wise design decision... _________________

What kind of text color do you think might help remedy the degree of contrast? t the linked forum, they seem to be using a lighter blue for some of it and a sort of grey, looks like? Would that work?
(I think that forum looks pretty slick.)
Anyway, gonna be AFK for about a day and a half here on account of summer English camp for the kids. If all stil seems lost by then, we'll revert to what it was before, and take it back to the drawing board.
Bear with me on this, guys. I appreciate everyone's patience. Thanks. _________________ If you buy stuff from Play Asia, help support RPG Land. Thank you. |

Yeah, it's currently pretty bad. On a laptop screen you have to be pretty particular with your viewing angle as it is, but with a forum this dark if you're a few degrees north or south of that angle it's unreadable. _________________
