I traded in UFC 2009, Mario & Sonic: Olympic games, Super Paper Mario, Tales of Vesperia, and Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
I ended up talking so much that the kid at the register fijucked up his scanning and gave me both the additional 30% for trade-ins along with the deal for UFC & RDR along with my 10% for having the Edge card.
So now instead of owing $20 on each game, I owe $.68 on RDR and $5.20 on UFC.
Hooray for the ignorance of youth and hooray for Solice and I talking way more and way louder than is necessary to Gamestop employees! _________________ "The teen passed out during the ceremony and the town decided to drown the cow." |

some info about the game. Looks like you'll be able to dress your cowboy up. I know I'll be putting on a Bowler hat as soon as possible. _________________ "The teen passed out during the ceremony and the town decided to drown the cow." |

Cripes, I feel like I'm doing my best Idin impression with these constant updates of shit that I think is sweet. This one is taken from 1up.com.
No. 6 -- Can Horses Fly? (or, The Thelma & Louise Ending)
I wrap up my play session by trying out the other big thing I've wanted to do since playing the game: ride my horse off the edge of a cliff. Will the horse actually go through with it? Will my companion break my fall, letting me survive? Will I get some GTA-style slowdown as I land, and then get random cash for catching some sweet air? (scroll for answer)
Nope, when you ride your horse off a cliff, you both hit the ground and die. _________________ "The teen passed out during the ceremony and the town decided to drown the cow." |

Now I'm usually all for animal abuse in any of its forms, but would a horse actually ride off of a cliff? I think it would be a lot funnier/cool if it just did one of those cool horse power slides and your character gets flung out of the saddle and off the cliff.
I also can't wait to rope a guy and drag him behind my horse just to cut it really close to the edge of a cliff to see if he goes flying over the edge while dangling by the rope. That is streets ahead of pushing people down stairs in GTA 4.
Yeah, I'm gonna start using "streets ahead" now. _________________ "True to the bullet pith on the enclose, Rocksmith allows you to beat the drum for legitimate hither any electric guitar into the proprietary USB chain that comes with the encounter..." - NEERGENCE, 12/02/2011 |

So I got modded at Gamefaqs for creating a topic on the RDR forum called: "Is there going to be lynching?"
"I'm just curious if you can get a group together and lynch someone in the game."
That's all I put. I didn't put anything racist, didn't say I was going to find all the pregnant, mexican, teenage mothers and lynch them, didn't say I was going to torture animals by lynching armadillos. Just asked a question about the gameplay. In fact, I stated later in the thread that my question had nothing to do with race, I was just wondering if we could use the lasso as a noose and lynch people for bounties. _________________ "The teen passed out during the ceremony and the town decided to drown the cow." |

That sucks. It's a legitimate question, but I can most assuredly say the answer is no, for all the reasons implied that lead to your moderation. It would be effing rad though. Go out and capture a wanted bandit, drag him back to down behind your horse than lynch him up to a tree while a crowd is growing around you. _________________

All this can be done. Which is the whole reason I asked. Now I'm going to pick out a different NPC and name them "Gamefaqs Mod."
That bitch is getting dragged all over the mudderfuckin range. _________________ "The teen passed out during the ceremony and the town decided to drown the cow." |

hur hur hur. Another Brokeback mountain joke. Classic. Damn, your taunting has defeated me. I'm now more inclined than ever to get the 360 version. If I do get it and we make a posse, can you promise to talk the entire time in a robot voice?
I'm actually trying to find comparisons right now to see if there are any legit previews that say one version looked/played better than the other. If the 360 version has something better to offer than the ps3, then I'll switch my preorder.
Not to mention that your track record with games is: play the new game for 60 hours straight, say you've got sick of it, go play to something for the SNES until the next Pokemon comes out. _________________ "The teen passed out during the ceremony and the town decided to drown the cow." |

You've obviously never played Pokemon.

I'm not going to question the competitivness of Pokemon. 11 year-olds at our local comic shop have proven to me that things can get out of hand really fast.
It was more a comment about how LiQuid is with recent games. I haven't actually heard of him liking a recent non-handheld console release longer than a week. I'm just saying I'm not going to switch to the 360 version on the off chance that I'll have a decent sized posse for about a week. _________________ "The teen passed out during the ceremony and the town decided to drown the cow." |
