I admire Sega's forum members and stuff for sticking to their guns. For a long while, every time Sega said anything about anything, SOMEONE would come along and make a reference to 10-20% of Yakuza 3 getting edited out (or whatever amount it was). Tough to ignore that.

On the biggest part of the controversy, the hostess bars: I've been playing the US version of Yakuza 3 lately and like, there are shots of it right in the opening video, even though they're not playable in the localized version of the game. It's like Sega giving everyone the finger right from the get-go.

This isn't RPG related. Is RPG Land just becoming the one stop shop for biannual Japanophile announcements?
