I'd reckon the following Spring. Maaaaaaybe Christmas if they hurry.

HeartGold & SoulSilver came out here in early September iirc, and then hit North America in what, like February? If that time frame holds consistent, then a that's be my bet.

I'd play these more if they were on a console, but then again, I don't want to handle a Wii....

White is far superior to Black. This is universal law.

I actually do have to wonder what on earth they were thinking. The three starters look like three...regular Pokemon, I guess. I wouldn't mind them being regular Pokemon, but I'd prefer something way cooler and tougher looking.

Although maybe when we see the evolutions, it'll be awesome. I'm imagining some awesome fire boar and kind of enjoying that, but I'm not at all sure how the others will go.

Also, do you ever think they'll change the formula of Fire-Water-Grass starters? Sometimes I think it'd be kind of cool to have different elemental starters.

Fire and Water are decent enough types, usually made better by type combos later on, but almost all of the grass type starters suck balls. That shoulda never been a starter type in the first place.

My first starter ever was a Bulbasaur and it kicked plenty of asses.

I think the original three were the best, but I don't think the later sets were all bad. And no Piplup love is saddening.

Yeah, not digging the new starters, though fire boar sounds AWESOME. When I saw the fire starter that's the first thing that came to mind. It better be sweet.
