You realize the Islanders STILL have to pay Yashin for two more years because of Milbury? And we have to listen to anything he has to say?

Milbury based his decision on NHL 97 for the Super Nintendo, obviously.

So the Cup will be in the building for next game. Think the Hawks will be skating around TD Garden with it?

I think our chances are good. If we can play the same way all game we did on Saturday I don't think they can keep up. I don't think we're gonna lose at home in game 7, but I really really hope we don't have to test that. Tonights the night. What a fantastic series its been so far.

Feel like this one's going 7, but if so the Hawks will take that. I'd rather they win it in Boston though.

I almost prefer to have the Hawks win in Boston. It's just so satisfying seeing the faces of the home fans as their hopes & dreams have been dashed to pieces.

So if the playoffs were to end tonight, who is your pick for Conn Smythe winner?

I'm going with either Brian Bickell or Andrew Shaw. I know Bickell hasn't done much lately, but he's been a driving force for the Blackhawks since game 1 against Minnesota. Andrew Shaw is starting to become one of my favorite players simply because he'll go after anyone on the ice.

I get those Conn Smythe picks, especially Bickell. The award always seems to go with either the highest-scoring player or an undeniably hot goalie, so I don't think the committee will agree. (Not that that's what you were saying; I realize you were just asking for picks, not predictions.)

I'm thinking this is Jagr's last game. He's not the type to settle for a no-goal playoff run, especially when it played out for 4 rounds.

Now, I may have been wrong about most everything else, but I would like to point out that I had this pinned from the second page.

Now you look like a fucking moron.

Yeah, I did miss it by one game. It probably should have gone to 7 games, but the hockey gods decided to give us the single most jaw dropping come back and win in Stanley Cup history. I'll take that over another game anytime.

Just read that Bergeron was playing with a PUNCTURED FRICKING LUNG in addition to the well-published broken rib and torn cartilage. And the separated shoulder.

Dude is warrior. If you could somehow get him and Shane Doan on the same team you'd begin every game 1-0 simply because of the pure manliness factor.

I was thinking about that the other day as well. If you were a coach and your player had all that stuff wrong with them, but was just hellbent on playing, would you still put them in. I mean, you have to admit the guy had the heart of a lion to get out there and play that fucked up, but wouldn't his minutes have been better put to use by some one who could breathe with out spitting out blood? Is a guy that banged up really the best shot your team has at winning?

Granted his sacrifice and courage probably encouraged all his other players to try just as hard as him, but I can't help but wonder if they had replaced him with some one healthy would they have had a better chance at winning?

Did they say how many minutes he played? I can't imagine his shifts being anything more than 20 seconds. And in that third period, I'm surprised he would've played anything more than 3 shifts.

Regardless, I tip my cap. Dude's a fucking warrior. If I ever get a Bruins jersey, it'll now be #37.

If I'm going vintage Bruins jersey, I'm going with Gerry Cheevers.

Haha I saw that.

And that, sadly, is the only way the current Sabres can put a win streak together.

Aim for the pants, Sabres! Let's, Go, Buff, A, Lo!

Buffa...low?
