From the Awesomecast's grave has arisen "The Best Video Game Podcast Top SEO Search Result."

I probably should have made this thread sooner.

Episode 1: The Yakuza series
Episode 2: Yakuza 0
Episode 3: Metroidvania Mania
Episode 4: 3 Totally Unsurprising "Surprises"
Episode 5: Sony's E3: Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Shenmue 3, The Last Guardian
Episode 6: Shenmue 3 Kickstarter Chaos

Let us know what you think, if you think anything. I know I try to avoid the practice myself.

I still find it amazing that i have not been invited to be on a podcast.

I treat podcasts like photos. If I'm not in it, I don't care.

If you actually want to be, eh, it can probably be arranged. Is there like, something you'd wanna talk about and could manage to sound like less of an ass than me? (We've got enough ass on the show already.)

Needs more references to games that just came out and reviews therein BECAUSE I AM AN ATTENTION WHORE (who is happily married and won't put out but still)

Actually, I haven't even listened to this since your Yakuza ones. I guess I'll carve time to listen to one of them when I'm driving at work again or something.

Edit: Finally listened to it. It's surprisingly informative. You and your wife host well. Kind of saddened to hear that SO5's demo was garbage, but I'll still be picking it up even though it will probably, at best, be "just another Star Ocean" and at worst be "Just another Square Enix RPG."

You guys whore out Gamer Revolution a lot; is this worth checking out, or is it "just another forum"?

I'll also be checking out Inversion, or Pavillion or whichever, when it comes out.

Hey thanks.

Well yeah. It's a bigger site than the 'Land so it's a bigger pool of potential listeners. Gotta do whatcha gotta do. It's nice that they let us post it around.

It's a nice enough community that gets magically bigger when a review of a big game comes out, thanks to scoreheads bitching about scores. And then, like the waves of the sea, they go away.

I don't go into the forums part of it very much though, so I don't know.

Enjoy the inverted Pavilion! I will too.

You expect me to believe there's a website out there with a larger readership than rpgland.com?

It's only a few.

I've narrowed it down with this rule. It's:
websites that begin with http://

Those are pretty much the only ones bigger.

They should rename Ni No Kuni to Mi No Finish since I have yet to talk to a single person that didn't get bored and quit the first one after a hundred hours of grinding.
