I have a book that is just a bunch of first hand experiences of ship wreck survivors. They are all either taken from the people's journals or from their autobiographies. It is a really amazing read to hear what these people were going through and what their thoughts were. There was one about a guy that wound up on a deserted island for years and years. He was there by himself until another ship wreck survivor landed on the same island. It went into detail about how they worked together at first and then after a few years had a big fight and lived on separate ends of the island and then they reconciled and lived together again.
They were both rescued and what was the first thing their rescuers did with them? Forced them not to shave so that they could bring them before the king so he could see how hairy they were. Just a f---ing amazing book. _________________ "True to the bullet pith on the enclose, Rocksmith allows you to beat the drum for legitimate hither any electric guitar into the proprietary USB chain that comes with the encounter..." - NEERGENCE, 12/02/2011 |

I don't have any solid plans yet. I was focusing on consulting for the travel and higher pay. I may go into teaching if I find a comfortable school. _________________ "What's that powder he's putting in our dinner?" |

| Terry Pratchet is quite good,Almost all the DOC Savage books are good reads,Hellgate London trilogy is suprisingly engaging. I tend to go through phases of nonstop reading and not reading at all so my choices are all over the place. |

Been reading Song of Ice and Fire stuff now. I just finished the second book. It's enjoyable reading, but I have to admit it's kind of silly sometimes. Still, I have to hand it to Martin, he managed to pull one over on me with the last book. I had become accustomed to expecting the worst when it came to stuff happening to his characters; when he finally made something good happen after telling me the worst had happened, I was legitimately surprised. _________________ H-E-S-T-E-R is a long, convoluted joke. |

Pratchet kicks ass. I love all his Disc World stuff. Also Good Omens/Bad Omens is an awesome read. _________________ "True to the bullet pith on the enclose, Rocksmith allows you to beat the drum for legitimate hither any electric guitar into the proprietary USB chain that comes with the encounter..." - NEERGENCE, 12/02/2011 |

| I'm reading The Wee Free Men at the moment, pretty decent. Not as good as the stuff you mentioned though solice. Did you check out the Hog Father show they did? it was surprisingly good. |

I watched the Hog Father movie about 6 or 7 times. I wasn't familiar with Terry Pratchett stuff and it blew my mind.
This reminds me that I want see the BBC Neverwhere series that Neil Gaiman wrote. I read the book but seeing the characters on screen should be fun. _________________ "What's that powder he's putting in our dinner?" |

Just finished Dance of Dragons. The second to last chapter had me drop the book and mutter, "No, no, no" for a while. f---in Martin. I'm going for a walk. Someone tell me when they've finished this book because I'm dying to discuss it with someone and everyone I know who's into this series is like re-reading Book 3 or 4. fuck! Y'all had like 6 years to do that. _________________ http://didthemapleleafswin.com/ |

Just finished The Magicians and I think it was really good and the second book is about to be released next month as well. I recommend it, its like an adult version of Chronicles of Narnia if the kids weren't kids, or siblings and had some hedonistic escapades _________________
