These *look* eerily like the PS1/2 remakes, so it's still uncelar whether these are ground-up remakes or PS ports, but adding second-screen stuff would seem to imply new versions, but right now we don't know, so....

The important question is this: Single Cart or one cartridge per game. Either way, I imagine this is a set I'll be getting, but if they could pack it, my wallet would thank them.

Which is probably why these will each be showing up on their own cartridges.

Of course, that's all under the assumption that they localize them. What with the DS install base and the general affection for DQ games, I think it'll probably be a go, especially because many people will be clamoring for the last, unlocalized, two.

Truth.

To further facilitate gaming, I ought to learn me up some Japanese. It will no doubt be hard (my memory is... uhmm... there is a better word than 'terrible,' out there, if only I could find it....), but with all the games that never get localized, it would be worth it.

Oh, the choices.

Looking forward to playing 5 and 6 translated nicely on a DS with some nice graphics.

This is great news.

V and VI are widely regarded as the best ones. I agree

Lulz, I don't remember making either of the posts I made in this thread, but this seems like a good thing. I only played VI of the three, and it wasn't very far into it, since the SNES rom translation didn't have any flavour text and it was just kind of boring to play through. Still seemed like a fun ass game though. I'm soooooo glad I got me a flash card. That things gonna be working overtime this fall.
