Don't get me wrong, this is my favourite FF, and the DS is my favourite gaming system of all time, and there is no doubt in my mind that I'm buying this game, but what the fuck, really? What was it about this particular scan that prompted such a group of insipid, meaningless posts that wasn't present in the last scan? Or hell, in all of FFIIIDS...

Also, Martyr, if you don't learn how to resize your motherfijucking images I'm going to find you in real life and kick your nuts so hard you'll be wearing them as eyeballs.

I guess just seeing everything in a totally different perspective makes me really want to play.

That and they said they are including more storyline that I guess they cut out before.

I looked hard. Twice. I'm not seeing the awesome. It looks exactly like I thoguth FFIV would look like with FFIII's engine.

Doesn't it seem just a tad ironic to anyone that Tim is acting more like Idin then Idin this time around, and that Idin is actually excited for a japanese RPG.

Someone divided by zero.

I'll never understand the appeal of FFIV. That may be because I started with VI, but I don't know.

The whole game was just lame to me, from start to finish.

And gameplay-wise, the aspect half of you harp on and on about, this is by far the most basic and un-involving of any of the SNES FF games. Not even an ounce of freedom with your characters.

As much as I love my DS, I'll probably just ignore this release.

Well if you played FF1 for years and years on end and then finally played FF2 on the SNES you would have probably liked it as much as we do.

Though I played and loved FFVI I kind of disliked a few things about it. The combat seemed slower to me with the addition of the status bars telling you when your turn was coming. I hated the whole magitech armor thing just because I am weird like that. I also hated how there was only 4 characters in battle at a time. When I was a kid I was always like...

"I wonder if they are going to have like 6 characters in battle at a time in FFVI! That would be so cool!"

Because I thought the idea of having 5 in battle rather than 4 was awesome in the transition between FFI and FFIV.

I still think FFVI rocks. I just like FFIV more. The music and atmosphere is just awesome.

I can understand that. Makes sense.

And yeah, I love the music in IV.

FFIV > I + II + III + V + VI + VII + VIII + IX + X + XI + XII combined.

The only true timeless classic of the entire series.
