I think they were trying like, a WWF approach where they have an average of a show per week and it serves to provide free entertainment as well as hype up the big PPVs. Dunno how well its working out. There seem to be a hell of a lot more training injuries happening this last year or so. That's killed some good cards, too. _________________ If you buy stuff from Play Asia, help support RPG Land. Thank you. |

Yeah, just look at what the Brazil card was supposed to look like compared to what it turned out being. _________________ "True to the bullet pith on the enclose, Rocksmith allows you to beat the drum for legitimate hither any electric guitar into the proprietary USB chain that comes with the encounter..." - NEERGENCE, 12/02/2011 |

Yeah. The replay showed it pretty clearly that it was totally legal. I guess that's part of the reason they say Silva has "laser-accuracy." Props to Yves Lavigne for being able to see that when it was so damn fast. Now I owe Solice a burger.
All in all, it was actually a pretty good night of fights. Griffin/Ortiz was way better than I expected, except for Griffin's bizarre bs at the end. _________________ "The teen passed out during the ceremony and the town decided to drown the cow." |

Did Griffin ever say why he left the ring like that? At first I thought it was because he had to take a poop or something but when he went back in and started doing the interview I figured it had to be some personal thing. _________________ "True to the bullet pith on the enclose, Rocksmith allows you to beat the drum for legitimate hither any electric guitar into the proprietary USB chain that comes with the encounter..." - NEERGENCE, 12/02/2011 |

With specifics like this, how can we not know what you're talking about.
But just for my own personal curiousity, were you talking about Tito vs Forrest, Tim Boetsch vs Hector Lombard, or Cheick Kongo vs Shaun Jordan? _________________ "The teen passed out during the ceremony and the town decided to drown the cow." |

The main event and co-main event were lame. Good performance by Barao but Faber wasn't able to keep it competitive.
That Cuban middleweight all the hype was a letdown.
Are we sure he's not Dominican?

The undercard was OK, but the mains all sucked. I thought Fabre/Barao was an OK fight though. I think it got a lot of heat just because of how chittyshittybangbang the 3 fights leading up to it were. Really glad I didn't have to pay for that. _________________ "True to the bullet pith on the enclose, Rocksmith allows you to beat the drum for legitimate hither any electric guitar into the proprietary USB chain that comes with the encounter..." - NEERGENCE, 12/02/2011 |

Aw man, Cole Miller is fighting Nam Fan tonight? That means one of them has to lose, and I generally don't like either of them to lose =/ _________________ If you buy stuff from Play Asia, help support RPG Land. Thank you. |

Round 1: Henderson 10-9
Round 2: Frankie 10-8 (I hate that puttin gyour hand on the ground crap, and Henderson spent like 3 minutes doing exclusively THAT. That means you're getting your ass kicked. 10-8, bitch).
Round 3: Frankie 10-9
Round 4: Frankie 10-9
Round 5: Frankie 10-9.
Final score,
Frankie: 49
Henderson: 45
The commentators are calling it super close, I dunno, seems like Edgar is the clear winner here. I love both guys and feel Benson won that first fight despite the outcry from the Edgar side; this fight it the other way around. I rule it for Edgar.
Edit: Judges blew this one. _________________ If you buy stuff from Play Asia, help support RPG Land. Thank you. |

I thought it was a really great fight. I did think Frankie was going to win a close decision. The judging was strange that night (Jake Shields had 2 judges giving him 30 - 27 in his fight with Ed Herman, even though Herman dominated the first round). What I don't understand is why Frankie didn't use more leg-kicks or go for a single-leg takedown after he hurt Henderson's lead leg. It was obvious that Henderson was hurt, but Frankie never followed up. _________________ "The teen passed out during the ceremony and the town decided to drown the cow." |

Did Jon Jones really duck a 185 pounder? (Chael)
And one that he had such a grudge against?
Really? _________________ If you buy stuff from Play Asia, help support RPG Land. Thank you. |
