Picked a great game to start watching hockies. Kings looked flat in the first period but the rest of this has been a riot. Can't wait to see how this pans out. I think Wayne Gretzky is going to score the winning goal! _________________

Two Game 7s tonight, I suspect another one in Boston in a couple nights. Great first round. The Sabres have been blowing leads, but there's something to be said for how well they play when the score's even I guess. Even in Game 5, they took it right back to Philly once the game was tied. Not so much the case in Game 6 and they paid for it, but we still have an All-World goalie and they still have Brian Boucher. Sabres 2-1.
I also see the Hawks taking this. Too much baggage for the Nucks to deal. _________________ http://didthemapleleafswin.com/ |

Wellllll Sabres-Flyers game 7 hasn't gone well (3-0). Being athe pessimist I am lately, I'm hoppin off this train and getting ready to focus my energy on Chicago and Pittsburgh. We had a good run, Buffalo. It was a good run. _________________ If you buy stuff from Play Asia, help support RPG Land. Thank you. |

What the fuck? Miller has become the king of choking. He can't handle being in the Olympic Gold Medal game and then he decides to break-down at game 7 of the first round of the Stanley Cup. Now I have to deal with Flyers/Pronger fans for at least 4 more games. fuck Miller raw with fire. _________________ "The teen passed out during the ceremony and the town decided to drown the cow." |

A fantastic game between both teams. Vancouver EARNED that win. I'm really glad the Hawks didn't go down without a fight.
And if the Canucks end up facing Detroit any time during these playoffs, you can bet I'll be cheering on Sedin brothers (Raffi Torres can still eat a dick).
This is most exciting NHL playoffs in a long time. Hopefully the whole series can live up to the first round. _________________ "The teen passed out during the ceremony and the town decided to drown the cow." |

I was thinking he looks kind of like massive Jew Adam Sandler from like 20 years ago. When they were post-game interviewing him I kept thinking "Want to touch the hienie!" _________________

Man, teams Heath is cheering for are 0-2 in Game 7's so far this year. Two more coming up though. Need to break even. _________________ If you buy stuff from Play Asia, help support RPG Land. Thank you. |

What are your other two teams? I've been doing a good job for cheering for winners. Also, never cheer for Chicago teams. What the fuck is wrong with you? _________________

Dude, that was not Miller's fault. If it hadn't been for Miller, the Flyers probably would have been up 5-0 after the first. They completely pushed the Sabres' shit in for that entire game. Too much speed, skill and experience for a Sabres team that was clearly wobbly from their home loss. It's a bummer, but we were never winning the Cup this year regardless. We'll be back.
Vancouver game was awesome. Things aren't getting much easier for them against the Preds. The West is just a brutal conference. Can't believe we get 2 more Game 7s tonight! SHeeeeeeeyit. _________________ http://didthemapleleafswin.com/ |

Don't know about him, but now that the Habs and the Hawks are out of it I am cheering for the Bruins (they're original six and I always like to see the original six in the finals) and the Preds/San Jose. But I would honestly have no problem with any of the teams in the west making it except for the Red Wings. fuck them. _________________ "True to the bullet pith on the enclose, Rocksmith allows you to beat the drum for legitimate hither any electric guitar into the proprietary USB chain that comes with the encounter..." - NEERGENCE, 12/02/2011 |

I can't believe I went 7 for 8 on my first round picks. Don't think I got any of the number of games right though. Next round i'm going:
Washington Capitals over Tampa Bay Lightning
Boston Bruins over Philedelphia Flyers
Vancouver Canucks over Nashville Predators
San Jose Sharks over Detroit Red Wings _________________ "The teen passed out during the ceremony and the town decided to drown the cow." |

So did I, in which the 7 represents losses. motherfijucking seriously.
The Pens blew it...
The Rangers didn't show up...
The Blackhawks lost...
The Sabres fumbled series/game leads...
The Ducks lost...
The Phoenix Doans lived up to their rep...
Oh wait I guess I did pick the Sharks. 2 for 8! Thanks Boston and San Jose!
Round 2...
Capitals beat Tampa
Philly beats Boston (mostly because B's Power Play ain't showing up)
Vancouver tops Nashville, running on the high from making it out of Chicago alive
Detroit beats San Jose because Detroit is Detroit and San Jose is San Jose. _________________ If you buy stuff from Play Asia, help support RPG Land. Thank you. |

I'm gonna go:
Capitols in 5
Boston in 6
Vancouver in 6
San Jose in 7
and from there I'm gonna go ahead and pick a Boston/Vancouver cup. _________________ "True to the bullet pith on the enclose, Rocksmith allows you to beat the drum for legitimate hither any electric guitar into the proprietary USB chain that comes with the encounter..." - NEERGENCE, 12/02/2011 |

Caps over Bolts
Flyers over Broons
Nucks over Preds
Wings over Sharks
I love how we all hate the Wings. That being said, I honestly see them as the odds-on Cup favorite at this point. Too much experience. I think the Caps' home ice might be enough to put them over three flawed teams in the East.
It really is a travesty. I could see all 4 of these teams in the West beating any team in the East. Maybe the Preds would lose to them, but these other three? Forget about it. Philly can't goaltend, Boston can't score, Tampa is a wildcard but they're a little too inexperienced and the Caps are better than the rest but I'm still not sold on Neuvirth. Alas. Should be fun either way. _________________ http://didthemapleleafswin.com/ |

While not extremely surprised or upset, it does seem a little surreal that the Penguins are out. And then I realized that with the exception of 2 rounds of last year's playoffs, in the last 3 years, if there's been NHL hockey, there's been Penguin hockey. Seems surreal. They were definitely not gonna win the cup sans Malkin and Crosby though so I guess better to bow out early and get a slightly higher draft pick. _________________ If you buy stuff from Play Asia, help support RPG Land.
