I went to a hockey playoff game last night, got free tickets, sat 5 rows from the glass behind the goalie.

And I hate hockey...

Yeah minor league, AHL Houston Aeros vs. Milwuake Admirals for the Calder cup

It was 5-3 game, more scoring than other 2 finals game combined, it was crazy stuff.

I'm watching this Mavs/Lakers Game 4 and the Lakers are getting smoked and on their way to being swept from the series. But because it's the NBA, the pussy Lakers can just take cheap shot after cheap shot at the Mavs players and try to injure them and the Mavs can do nothing in retaliation lest they have players suspended for next series. This culminated in Andrew Bynum laying the cheapest of cheap shots with a running elbow to the ribs of a defenseless Mav player going for a layup. He shows no emotion and immediately walks to the locker room as he's ejected. He even takes his shirt off like a while he's walking.

If you tried to pull that crap in hockey, even if you were getting swept, you would get your Ass. Kicked. Then your best player would get HIS ass kicked. And the ass kickers would go sit in a box for 5 minutes then get right back in it. No suspensions. No 'flagrant foul'. The game regulates itself because it's played by people with actual respect for the game and respect for the opponent who can go tic for tac on the physicality.

That was ridiculous. This entire post season has been crazy. Two seeps and now two series that very well may make it to the 7th game. The more I'm seeing the more i think the winner of the Eastern conference is gonna take this cup. I'm torn between rooting for an original 6 team and going for the Bolts though. If the Predators beat the Canucks I will cheer them on until my throat is hoarse and sore.

Man. Tampa really does pull it out when they need to. I really like all of the teams that are left in the playoffs. I could watch a Stanley Cup with any of them in it.

I find myself kinda pulling for the Bay after the awesome comeback, and due to Horton being a dickhead. You don't taunt some guy that you just injured, even if it is Steve Downie.

Starting to look like a Boston/Vancouver Cup. Think I'm gonna root for original six in the cup. That would make two years in a row that an original 6 team won it. And that is great. Next year if it ain't the Hawks its the Leafs turn!

Everyone just gave up on the play. It was like something out of a video game. Except there was a Bieksa glitch -- as it shall come to be known.
