Can't wait for this. Its coming out around my birthday too. I might actually take time off work to play it. Though I could just play while at work at that point. _________________ "True to the bullet pith on the enclose, Rocksmith allows you to beat the drum for legitimate hither any electric guitar into the proprietary USB chain that comes with the encounter..." - NEERGENCE, 12/02/2011 |

Lern to ply betr, noOb!
And honestly, the game itself wasn't terribly hard, it just punished the shit out of you if you made some retarded mistake. _________________ "The teen passed out during the ceremony and the town decided to drown the cow." |

Demon's Souls was only hard if you tried to run through everything with out thinking or looking at where you're going. I died a fuckton during the first level, but once I learned how to play the only things that would give me trouble would be the bosses. And bosses are supposed to be hard. Remember back when video games were challenging and you had to play them a lot to get good at them and when you beat them it gave you a sense of accomplishment? That's what Demon's Souls was. I don't think I have ever felt as relieved as when I finally killed Man-Eater. shit, I know how to beat him and I still feel relief everytime its dead. _________________ "True to the bullet pith on the enclose, Rocksmith allows you to beat the drum for legitimate hither any electric guitar into the proprietary USB chain that comes with the encounter..." - NEERGENCE, 12/02/2011 |

I never had trouble with Man-eater. The False King was the one that gave me the most trouble. _________________ "The teen passed out during the ceremony and the town decided to drown the cow." |

| Maybe i should give it another go. after about the umteenth time of shit falling on my head or walking up scaffolding only to get blasted by an unseen foe i gave up. I refuse to use a walkthrough on this game though, and it seems that those types of cheap deaths are typical throughout the course of the game? Its not like i shy away from difficult games.I play bullet hell shmups, challenge is a part of gaming(battle toads anyone?). |

The False King wasn't so bad for me since I was a speed/luck/endurance guy with the Blueblood sword. Man-Eater was terrible cause there was no where for me to roll around with out dying. Not to mention my controller was crappy and the very first time I killed him it stuck and my asshole guy walked right off the edge of the bridge. _________________ "True to the bullet pith on the enclose, Rocksmith allows you to beat the drum for legitimate hither any electric guitar into the proprietary USB chain that comes with the encounter..." - NEERGENCE, 12/02/2011 |

Maneater was easy for me because I used the trick where you kill the first one with arrows before you enter the room.
False King was hard because I had an Endurance/Strength build because I wanted to use the Meat Cleaver. I had to finally beat him while wearing no armor so I could roll without creating some horrible "thud" while tumbling around. _________________ "The teen passed out during the ceremony and the town decided to drown the cow." |

You cheesed on Man-Eater! No wonder it was no problem for you! You can do the same thing to the False King. If you stand at the end of the steps you can barely see the top of his head. Gotta have the thieves ring equiped though. And it takes forever. _________________ "True to the bullet pith on the enclose, Rocksmith allows you to beat the drum for legitimate hither any electric guitar into the proprietary USB chain that comes with the encounter..." - NEERGENCE, 12/02/2011 |

Man-eater was still easier on my 2nd run and I didn't use the trick because I forgot until just after I walked through the f---ing doorway.
I tried the trick with False King, but he ended up walking too close and I couldn't see him anymore. And you seriously need something like 1400 arrows to take him out. _________________ "The teen passed out during the ceremony and the town decided to drown the cow." |

Just fired Demon's SOuls up again this weekend. What a great game. I'm playing through as a knight who I turned into a barbarian. Running around with no shirt but Fluted pants and a +5 bastard sword is just the best thing ever. _________________ "True to the bullet pith on the enclose, Rocksmith allows you to beat the drum for legitimate hither any electric guitar into the proprietary USB chain that comes with the encounter..." - NEERGENCE, 12/02/2011 |

I didn't even listen to the sound (have it muted at work). Just thought it was a cool trailer. _________________ "The teen passed out during the ceremony and the town decided to drown the cow." |
