Well the Hawks finally got a win! Series should probably be 3-0 Hawks, but whatever. The way this series is going both teams are gonna be too beat to shit to make a good push.

I finally breathed a sigh of relief yesterday. Just glad the game didn't go into overtime.

Here's to hoping we smash them against the rocks tonight to break their will and finish this thing up in 6.

Meanwhile in the East, every 3-1 lead in CBJ/PIThas ended in a loss for the team with the 3. Through 4 games. 4. Has this ever happened? What crazy-good odds for trailing teams.
Fleury, Malkin, and Crosby all gone missing. Time to blow it all up and start a youth movement in Pittsburgh!

Also LOL Matt Cooke and the NHLOL relaxed suspensions. Only 7 games for a repeat-repeat offender? Come on. Shit shouldn't have been under 20.

Well they can't very well suspend people for long! Its the playoffs! It really is a different sport with a goon running it.

Raffi Torres was suspended for 22 games during the playoffs. And he's been a repeat offender so many times he's on a first name basis with the secretaries at NHL head office.

Yeah, but Raffi Torres is a straight goon piece of garbage and shouldn't be allowed to suit up for anyone ever. I've been enjoying seeing his team drop a 3-0 lead and are most likely going to be eliminated by the Kings tomorrow.

I'm gonna say Philly pulls off a late goal to stun the Rangers and the Sharks, ah...dammit Sharks, you're gonna lose aren't you? Yeah, you are.

Isn't someone else playing tonight? Oh the Wild! I hope they win, but I think the Avs will take it.

I'm rooting for all the underdogs in this one. Flyers, Wild, and Kings.

Need the Wild to win so we have home ice advantage, need the Kings to win because they could beat the Ducks, and I wan the Flyers to win because I don't really like NY for some reason. They're Original Six, but I still just don't like them very much.

I'm with you on 2 of those, but not Philly. Can't do it.

I'm cheering for LA because I'm cheering for history. I started out cheering for San Jose in that series, but when a team comes back from 3-0 to tie it and force game 7? Man I gotta root for the miracle.

That wouldn't be doing sports correctly even if this was a football thread.

Round 2 officially begins tomorrow!

Blackhawks vs Wild
Kings vs Ducks

Rangers vs Penguins
Bruins vs Habs

My picks:
Blackhawks in 5 (3 games in OT)
Ducks in 7

Penguins (barring some trademark breakdown) in 6
Bruins in 5 (I'm really rooting for Montreal, but let's be real here)

I'll also take the Hawks in 5. Minnesota's down to their 3rd string goalie, it looks like.

I'll say the Ducks beat the Kings in 6,
Penguins beat the Rangers in 7 (includes 2 blown leads)
Bruins in 6

Hawks in 5 or 6 (I'm going to the game tonight so I'm super excited!)
Kings beat the Ducks in 6
Penguins beat the Rangers in 6
Canadiens beat the Bruins in 5 (possibly sweep them)

Now I know that is a bold prediction for Montreal, but I just really really want them to win.
