Players are often notified of new content. Rather than making one rely on dumb luck, OCD, or a walkthrough, the games simply pop up a notification when something new is available, so that you donít have to risk committing 30 hours to something only to find out that you missed part you were really excited for.

Final Mix content includes new boss battles, added cutscenes, new dungeons, slight story modifications to bring the games closer together, costumes, music tracks, and lots of smaller tweaks sprinkled throughout.

What bothered me somewhat about Critical Difficulty was that this level still subjects players to long, drawn-out, unnecessary, frankly boring tutorials. If someone is playing on Critical Difficulty, he/she has presumably beaten the game before, perhaps even multiple times. They know what theyíre doing.

Couldnít tutorial sections have been treated like cutscenes, with the option to skip? I could be in my grave any minute! A van could come flying through my wall and send me to the big PlayStation in the sky, and Iím just here trying to play a fun video game, and Iíve got to waste my time being told how to play a game Iíve already beaten! I ainít got time to spare! Itís a bummer to spend money on these games, clear them, spend money on them again, select Critical Difficulty, and still have to be very slowly told which button is jump, how targeting works, and that Aqua is faster than Terra.

"Though I adored Birth by Sleep on the PSP and Kingdom Hearts II is often brought up as a favorite PS2 game, it might be tough to go back after playing HD ReMIX. Bringing these games up to the current visual standard is one thing, but the amazing musical enhancements boost them even more. Even with audiovisual upgrades, I donít usually get into re-releases, but when this, much like the FFX/X-2 HD Remaster, includes a bunch of content that wasnít previously available, then I consider it worth my attention.

Kingdom Hearts II.5 HD ReMIX bundles two great games into one package whose strength is much more than the tech enhancements."

Do you recommend it?

I only got to play a demo that kind of bored me, but it sounds like you need to sink a bunch of time into that one for it to start rolling. Is that true?

Or was that a joke post and you're mocking my lame ass?

Actually I think it was the last Pokemon game. Man what a miserable piece of code that piece of shit is.

Barring that, I still can't think of a Japanese videogame I've played in like half a decade at least.

What are you people doing with your lives?

Wasting them I guess.

But I like them. (Well, not as many as I used to, but there's always ENOUGH around for me.) Japanese games are still clicking for me. I particularly like Yakuza: Ishin on PS4. I wish it would go to the West. Yakuza is like what Shenmue wanted to be.

I'm not saying that I DISlike Western stuff. I played and liked The Witcher recently, though I had to dumb down its settings for my laptop. Once the third drops I'm gonna snag the second one for cheap or free or...something. Looking forward to that.

The Last of Us was amazing too.

I really liked the new pokemon game, had a lot of stuff added that I adored, like XP all.

As for doing with my life? in the last 18 months I've gotten my Masters, started a business, got married, sold a house, building a house, and now found out we're having a baby.

So, not much...

As for Fantasy Life, I had a really good time with it for the first week or so, but then I got so annoyed with the story I just click through it, I do have some enjoyment of just gathering materials, grinding up new items and such and wish there was more a game like that, sort of like Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale but where you collect and make the items and it didn't have some annoying time limit for the BS payments and stuff so I have more freedom.

Yeah I used all my bad luck in the early 20's to have some decent luck in late 20's early 30's

Man, I just played Ruby like 3 years ago though.

On the one hand, 3 years; but on the other hand, it doesn't feel very long ago.
