umm there was an introduce yourself thread but i hope nobody minds if i make a new topic.
there are new people here but i think the older guys remember me (tim, heath, q, liz, and the rest of you
even though i haven't been on the forums but i have still been a big fan of rpgland, wir, reviews, etc. even blabbing on about how great the place is too so many friends so often that it was probably quite obnoxious. recently i got romancing saga on ps2 which i remember first hearing about right here and ever since then have been constantly checking rpgland to see when the last good squenix rpg (in my opinion) would hit the shelves. i'm glad to see nr approved of it as well as i did. gray is just too cool though
through strange events i actually am becoming well developped in animation. strange event being me enrolling in a tech school and driving a 30 min trip to it every day so i can study animation. i've taken off in it really well, but have nothing on the web yet, but i actually am tryin to create a sorta intro for rpgland, it seemed like a cool idea.
even more recently though is the reason why i said its fortunate i am still around. to cover the basics, i was recently (as of last friday night around 10:30 pm) in a car accident. the car i was in was trying to make a blind left turn- let me pause to interject that this is a very bad idea, never turn left unless you can see oncoming traffic- anyways the car tried to turn left at an intersection, but since a car making a left turn from the opposite direction had pulled out into the intersection, the driver of my car couldn't see the traffic. i was sitting in the front passenger seat, so when we made the turn the oncoming suv hit right on my side a basically totalled that entire area.
luck have it, i was the only one to be hurt badly, the front two bones in my left arm were broken in half so that my hand was basically not connected to my arm. the skin did not rip but t was dangerously close to ripping. but i was lucky on so many levels it is scary. if the collision were a foot farther down i could have been killed, and also my right arm is fine (and i am right hannded). also, luckiest of all, i don't have any other major injuries, and the arm was fixed with some steel plates screwed into my bones (ooh i am a cyborg now).
basically, i've been home from school all week because i've been prescribed narcotics, and i've been very bored. which brings me back to romancing saga because you can play this game one handed very efficiently! believe me heh. its been my companion. which again reminded me that i need to get my butt down on the forum and talk to you guys. so hey whatsup?
(sorry about the bad grammar and any spelling errors i tried my best with one hand) _________________ I like muffins

Sucks that it took a car crash to get you to come to the forums again :p On the bright side, you got a way cool story out of the deal and some game time while you recover.

| Christ, it seems everyone is having terrible times involving possessed cars that crash and/or get smashed by vengeful methheads these days. T_T |
