Marvelous, XSeed become co-publishers

When Ken Berry of XSeed said to me at a party, “Hey, H-bomb, we’re gonna be publishing partners with Marvelous Interactive,” I casually backpatted him and said, “Oh, Ken, you are not.” Well, Ken, it seems I owe you a Coke.
Also, Valhalla Knights 2 is coming stateside this fall.

Bandai Namco, NIS, Gust, Capcom, Idea Factory join forces in Cross Edge

In what sounds like a sort of spiritual sequel to Namco X Capcom, the two named companies as well as new friends Gust, Nippon Ichi, and Idea Factory will be joining forces to create Cross Edge for PS3. Compile Heart will be handling development.

Atlus adjusts arrivals: new Summon Night: Twin Age, Spectral Force 3 release dates

Anyone looking forward to Atlus’s May releases, take note: both Summon Night: Twin Age and Spectral Force 3 have been pushed back to July. Formerly slated for release on May 20, Summon Night: Twin Age has received a new release date of July 3. Spectral Force 3 has been moved from May 27 to July 29.

More playable characters downloadable in Disgaea 3

A free update, available for download April 25, will enable players of the the PlayStation 3’s Disagea 3 to enlist the services of one of 10 high-powered characters with every clearing of the game. As Disgaea 3 hasn’t yet made it to North American stores, it is not yet known whether this update will be available for download in North America, or if the new version of the game will simply have it built it, or neither.

Masato “mother-effing” Kato, Yasunori “mother-effing” Mitsuda, and Masatoshi “not as big of a mother-effing deal but still pretty cool” Azumi are just three of the big names involved with a new DS RPG by Sega, entitled World Destruction.
