RPG Land’s Monthly Top 5: June
By Heath | May 31, 2010 at 4:39 am
Again, these aren’t coming out in June, they are the most highly anticipated RPGs, as of right now. One certain RPG megaforce dominates the list this month.
5) Final Fantasy IX (PlayStation Network)
Didn’t see this one coming. One of the top 5 most anticipated RPGs of right now is…a game that’s 10 years old. Out now on the Japanese nd European PSN stores, soon it will also arrive for North American downloaders.
4) Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light (DS)
recently revealed to come out this October, this DS re-imagining of Final Fantasy was labeled “Good” in Janelle’s import review. Its official site is currently just a splash page, but here it is.
3)Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep (PSP)
I thought this one would take number one since it finally got its release date announcement (September 7).
2) Final Fantasy XIV (PC, PS3)
More infomation and new screenshots are keeping the hype train moving at full speed.
1) Dragon Quest IX (DS)
News of its July release vaults Dragon Quest IX to the top this month, after claiming 5th place in May.
And just like that, Square Enix completes a clean sweep of the list.
