Final Fantasy XIII: Episode Zero tells backstory
By Heath | September 19, 2009 at 5:52 am
Via “novelization” on its official website, Square Enix will be telling a story leading up to the events of Final Fantasy XIII. To be written by Jun Eishima (who has been involved with the Final Fantasy series and Fullmetal Alchemist manga), the full title is Final Fantasy XIII Episode Zero: Promise. The first installment of this work is expected by the end of September, and it is yet unsure if it will be (officially) made available in English.

Crystal Bearers Japanese release moved forward
By Heath | September 15, 2009 at 12:37 pm
November 12 suddenly becomes noteworthy to Japanese RPG Land, as the release of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers for Wii has been moved from the 26th of that month to the 12th. This is the same launch day as Atlus’s much-touted PSP RPG Hexyz Force. To RPG players with both systems and a combined $130 or so to blow on both titles (combined), this is of little concern. Below is the Japanese box art for The Crystal Bearers.
