RPG Deals 11/22 – 11/25 + Black Friday Weekend

By Russ | November 22, 2009 at 8:35 pm

This is the T-minus week: 4 days of deals followed by three days of insanity. And you know what? I’ll cover them both.

Lots this week, unsurprisingly. The better deals will be this weekend, but there are still plenty of deals to take advantage of this week. As a result, simple lists are in effect.

Below are the deals for 11/22 – 11/25:

Sears and K-Mart both have Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 for $40 on the 360 and PS3. Not a surprise; both entities are owned by the same company.

Target has the following games for $44 each on both the 360 and PS3:

Best Buy has the following PC titles for $30:

Best Buy also has a bunch of Wii games with attached gift cards for buying one or two select games. No RPGs were present, but there were still some nice titles.

Toys R Us has a ‘buy 1 get 1 half off’ on all DS and PSP titles. Discounted title must be of lesser value and all that. Hopefully Amazon will follow up with a similar deal. If so, Kenka Bancho here I come!

Now for the Black Friday deals. These deals may not be accurate; this is merely what is being reported on. All deals will last until close of business Sunday unless otherwise noted. Please read all disclaimers!

Best Buy:

GameStop:

GameStop is also doing their ‘buy 2 used, get 1 free’ on all used games and accessories.

Sears and K-Mart:

Toys R Us:

Wal-Mart:

It might not be a sale, but Play-Asia’s got Suikoden I&II for PSP (only released in Japan) for $34, which is less that it had been for a long time. It was $55 for a long, ong time there.

Personally, I’m waiting for Amazon’s and Newegg’s deals, if only because I can stay home and shop.

Thanks to the CAG forums and Blackfriday.net; both of which I’ve talked about here before. These sites were fantastic for finding Black Friday deals.

This week’s advice:

Be kind. Be patient. This weeks sucks for everyone, except your wallet. Also, be careful.

Happy Hunting.

Disclaimer: Deals may not be available in all stores. Prices in each store may differ. You can try different stores to mitigate this, and always ask if a store has it before writing them off. You might be able to get a raincheck. A lot of these deals are in-store only, except where specified.
