RPG Deals 4/11 – 4/17

By Russ | April 11, 2010 at 3:51 pm

Even in this week of nothing will I find the scraps to feed ye hunger for deals.  Warning: Scraps are rotten.

One of this week’s deals does not involve RPGs, but sometimes people like to branch out.  It’s a good deal if you want Splinter Cell: Conviction.

Target racks up a lemon by offering Borderlands on the 360 and PS3 for $50.  This is odd, because Borderlands is now $40.  Even at Target.  The game is $30 for the PC version, by the way.

Toys R Us is offering a good deal on non-RPGs.  Buy Splinter Cell: Conviction on the 360 and get one of the following 360 games for $20:  Left 4 Dead 2, Assassin’s Creed II, Modern Warfare 2, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Major League Baseball 2k10, and Bioshock 2.  That’s a lot of 2’s.

Amazon is offering $10 store credit when you pre-order the following games:  Nier (360/PS3), Monster Hunter 3 (Wii), or Monster Hunter 3 with a classic controller (Wii).  Amazon may revoke these deals at any time.

Atelier Judie for PSP (currently Japan only) isn’t that much cheaper than most other new PSP games in Japan, but it’s apprently already going out of stock. If you’re wanting to ensure a copy, Play-Asia’s still got some. The same can be said for Etrian Odyssey III, which has reportedly been flying off shelves.

That’s all I got for this week.  Like I said – scraps.

Happy Hunting.

Disclaimer: Deals may not be available in all stores. Prices in each store may differ. You can try different stores to mitigate this, and always ask if a store has it before writing them off. You might be able to get a raincheck. A lot of these deals are in-store only, except where specified.
