Hear that? Sound familiar? It should, because it’s your own voice! …Unless you didn’t vote… and unless the games you voted for weren’t voted for by many other people… and there’s that thing where nobody recognizes themselves on tape….
As of right now, these are the most anticipated RPGs.(Note: all games on this and future lists must actually be officially announced, so we can’t put stuff like “Final Fantasy XXX” or “World of Warcraft 2,” even though that would be awesome.
5) World of Warcraft: Cataclysm (PC)
A highly anticipated expansion to the biggest MMORPG in the Land. Coming out Dec. 7, it’ll no doubt be occupying the vacation time of many an addict.
4) Diablo III (PC)
Blizzard is going for a double-dip this month with RPG fans voting up two of its games. This one in particular has been awaited for a long, long time.
3) Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together (PSP)
The only handheld on the list caught a huge boost when its official release date was announced recently. Apparently, people really dig the retailer-exclusive pre-order tarot cards. I wouldn’t have predicted such, but but maybe that’s because I’m terrible at fortune telling.
2) Tales of Graces f (PS3)
It’s a recent Tales game that North America never got. If you want it in English, be sure to let Namco Bandai know how you feel. We’re glad to see that so many people have done so, and are happy this list can serve to reflect your enthusiasm for this game.
1) The Witcher 2 (PC, rumored for consoles though that’s unconfirmed)
When the May 17, 2011 release date was unveiled for this one mere days ago, the internet collectively shouted for joy. This sequel to a great WRPG is stirring up quite a bit of hype. The Witcher 2 will make the summer quite interesting indeed.
