Blue Dragon 2: knocking DS closer to Average
By Heath | September 21, 2007 at 7:44 pm
The Weekly Jump has revealed that Mistwalker’s Blue Dragon will now go from standalone to franchise status, by way of a DS spinoff sequel thing. After its Xbox 360 elder received mostly average-type comments and scores from reviewers, the Blue Dragon team is probably going to have a difficult time getting beyond that, as the scans sort of make it look like this new game uses cards, generally an unpopular mechanic in RPGs. Though, more likely, the cards in the scans may be for a game with physical cards instead of the DS game. This story contains speculation and Heath giving jackass commentary, of course, so we’ll see how it goes.
