Blue Dragon was recently released stateside, Archaic Sealed Heat will hit Japan later this week, Lost Odyssey will be available in December for Japan and some time in 2008 for North America, Cry On is in development (though lacking release dates), and RPG Land reported a while ago about a Blue Dragon game for DS. But Mistwalker is now adding some more to its roster with Away: The Kidnapped People (Tsuresarareta Hitobito) for Nintendo DS.
In this Japanese press release, it is discovered that the game will — like most other Mistwalker titles — be directed by Hironobu Sakaguchi and feature a score by Nobuo Uematsu. Artoon, who helped create Blue Dragon, will be the primary developer of the game, under Mistwalker’s direction and possibly at gunpoint. AQ Interactive will publish this game, and it is street dated for Jan. 31, 2008, in Japan, selling for just under $60 US.
