RPG Deals 2/13 – 2/19

What the Hell, K-Mart? Really. What the Hell?
K-Mart is offering a $15 bonus through their Shop Your Way rewards program for buying Dragon Quest VI. I would suggest checking out the program either in store or online before trying for it, because there are some pretty specific criteria in order to get the rewards working. I need to get my account working, actually. If it’s useful, I will recommend it. If it’s not, you won’t see a SYW deal in this column again.
I understand K-Mart is trying to not bleed money, but the convenience of the coupons really worked well. It also left the responsibility to the customer, because if you lost the coupon you were SOL, which may have been the complaint.
Customers can save $10 on any Wii or DS game when Dragon Quest VI is bought for the DS this week at Toys R Us.
Pre-ordering Pokemon: White or Black at Target will net a $5 gift card when you pick up the game.
That Atlus PSN deal from last week? It’s still available until Tuesday night.
The 360 version of Nier is $15 on Amazon.com.
I’ve noticed in addition to the Sly and God of War collections, an Ico/Shadow of the Colossus, Tomb Raider, Prince of Persia, and Splinter Cell collections are heading their way to the PS3. If Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts collections are forthcoming, Square-Enix needs to re-release the International and Final Mix editions for North America in this matter. It would be epic; though I’ll let you decide if it’s epic win or epic fail – with your wallets.
Though a Tales collection would also rock out.
That’s all I have for this week. Happy Hunting.
Disclaimer: Deals may not be available in all stores. Deals may stop and any time. Prices in each store may differ. You can try different stores to mitigate this, and always ask if a store has the item before leaving the store. You might be able to get a raincheck.
