Shop Watch May 2020

This is a month of uncertainty. Looking over release dates it appears titles have understandably been moved back.

Dates slipping should be expected at this time. Movies being released direct download is how companies try to combat that for finished product; but now we are going to see the results of delays on unfinished titles. This month also sees the released of a delayed launch from March – the TurboGrafx-16 mini.

May 29 sees the release of Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition. This Wii game was released on the DSi and now has been remastered for the Switch. Players can now have the majority of the series on the Switch – though a Xenoblade Chronicles X release is likely within the year.

The Borderlands Legendary Collection also sees release this date for the Switch. It contains Borderlands, Borderlands 2, and the Pre-Sequel!.
