Developer Elemental Labs is partnering up with publisher acttil to (hopefully) bring the action-RPG Reborn to the PS3 and PS4. The setting takes famous samurai Miyamoto Musashi and drops him into the middle of Neo Tokyo. His foes are plucked straight from Japanese lore as well, as the updated versions of several Japanese demons will need to be dealt with. The game needs some initial funding to get off the ground, though, so check out the Kickstarter page to see what Reborn is all about.

Longtime Final Fantasy soundtrack composer Nobuo Uematsu has written an e-book called Blik-0 1946, and new publisher acttil will be releasing it in English this August. The story is about a robot named Blik-0 who begins to experience emotions, and to help convey his feelings, the e-book will include three new original songs by Uematsu. They’ll play at the proper times during your reading of the story. Hey, thanks, technology!
The announced price is $9.99, though an exact release date hasn’t been specified — we’ve just got “August” for now. Check the itunes store for updates, as well as Blik-0’s Facebook page. You can see a load of information and background details, as well as a few illustrations, on the official announcement.
RPG Publishers Undergo Changes; “acttil” is New Face in Town

News coming from some publishing companies that RPG fans will be familiar with. First, XSeed games has become Marvelous USA. Not much has changed about the company itself. XSeed always had a tight relationship with Marvelous, and the key people still have the same jobs.
NIS America said goodbye to three key employees, meanwhile. The departed trio formed a new company called “acttil” in deliberate, grammar-killing all lowercase. The group intends to localize Japanese games, books, e-books, and whatever else they find interesting.
